Well- it is done. The third night of lunaception has been accomplished. Finally I can go back to sleeping in complete darkness! Now the only thing I have really to report is that my temps LOOK like I ovulated much, much earlier in my cycle than I ever have. But I can't say for sure if that happened! First of all- I had no ovulatory pain, which is something that is always present for me around CD 19-21. I usually get a pain in my right ovary. No pains. Also, I usually have copious amounts of ewcm- for long stretches of time... like 6 days before I ovulate... no ewcm that I can tell. If there was any it was very very light and it was only visible on toilet tissue in a very scant amount, otherwise anything else I found was watery or lotiony.
So who knows? Here is my chart so far.... Not sure what to think of this cycle and these spiking temps. I did drink a bit of red wine last night (merry christmas!) so that may have spiked my temp up like crazy but otherwise - that's it. Guess we'll keep temping and using the OPK until something shows up later this month... In other news, I kind of had a positive OPK day as you will see on the chart... but again... it wasn't like the stripe was as dark as the OPK line- it's just that it wasn't visible at all during that early part of the cycle (nor was I expecting it to be) and then that one day it was pretty dark but again, not as dark as the opk line... so who knows if that's even accurate?
